Bradl to receive 'factory support' until 2014
14 November 2012 – Stefan Bradl has reached an agreement with the Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) which will see the German compete as a 'factory supported' rider until the end of the 2014 season. The 22-year-old has impressed during his maiden campaign in the top echelon of motorcycle racing, scoring points in 14 of his 18 races.
"HRC’s support was extremely important for me in my first season in the premier class and riding for the LCR Team has been a very positive experience for me," said Bradl. "I am happy to continue with Lucio’s Team and HRC for the next two years!"
With Bradl now signed up to the LCR Team for the next two years, Team Manager Lucio Cecchinello says 'the best is yet to come' from the rising star.
"Being a part of HRC’s program and continuing our sport project with Stefan through to 2014 make us very happy and very proud because this deal gives us the chance to better plan our job aiming to close the championship in the top positions," he said. "Stefan has amazed everybody in 2012 and I am sure the best is yet to come."
