MotoGP test at Circuito Ricardo Tormo 14 November 2012

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa topped the timesheets at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on Wednesday, backing up the victory he achieved at the Valencian track last Sunday. The Spaniard, who has been joined by Marc Márquez after Casey Stoner's retirement from the sport, posted a time of 1:32.322 to lead Cal Crutchlow and Stefan Bradl.

Although conditions were still damp at the venue, the 15-strong field were able to complete much more mileage on Wednesday. Pedrosa's effort came late on, with his personal best time delivered on his 25th of 30 laps. Crutchlow finished his day 0.349 seconds behind, attempting to rid the memories of his last lap crash.

Ducati rider Nicky Hayden was next up behind third-placed Bradl, with Álvaro Bautista and new team-mate Andrea Dovizioso in close company. Márquez finished seventh after his first day on the Honda RC213V, while Britain's Bradley Smith narrowly missed out on a place inside the top ten during his MotoGP debut.
