Yamaha has announced a two-year partnership with the Monster Energy Company, meaning the brand's logo will appear on the bikes and leathers of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi as well as on all team clothing during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
"We are very happy to announce the start of a new chapter in the Yamaha – Monster Energy partnership," said Yamaha Managing Director Lin Jarvis. "This partnership will bring even more ‘energy’ into our racing program and Monster Energy will be a great supporter to further promote our team and riders' performances around the world."
Monster Energy, whose sponsorship deal with Tech 3 Yamaha will not be affected, is also a partner of the Mercedes Formula 1 team, having joined forces in 2010.
