Factory Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi will continue as Bridgestone's Tyre Development Adviser in 2013, having extended his agreement with the Japanese manufacturer. The nine-time World Champion will offer his views on the brand's latest racing and road tyres in an ongoing bid to improve tyre performance and safety levels.
"I’ve been working with Bridgestone in MotoGP for many years and have always been impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their products," said Rossi, who reunites with Jorge Lorenzo at Yamaha this season. "Continuing this agreement gives me an exciting opportunity to contribute to new Bridgestone motorcycle road tyres"
Bridgestone entered MotoGP in 2002, before increasing its involvement by becoming the first official tyre supplier of the championship ahead of the 2009 campaign.
