Aoyama fractures wrist in training accident

Hiroshi Aoyama fractured his left wrist in a motocross accident last week. The Japanese rider was training at a track near Barcelona when the crash occurred.

Aoyama, who has signed for Avintia Blusens, was taken to hospital and examined by Dr. Xavier Mir. A fractured left wrist was soon confirmed, leaving Aoyama with little choice but to rest before the first test of the year, which he is expected to attend.

The opening pre-season test takes place at Sepang from 5 to 7 February.
