Dani Pedrosa and Marc Márquez visited the Repsol Headquarters in Madrid on Thursday to unveil the 2013 Honda RC213V. The new bike features a striking livery, again representing the colours of the team's long-time title sponsor, while mechanically its main changes provide a boost to engine power and fuel efficiency.

"This year's bike has a fresh touch to it, which can give us a boost at the races," said 2012 runner-up Pedrosa, who is entering his eighth MotoGP campaign with Repsol Honda. "I hope the fans like it too. I'm starting this pre-season really keen. I can't wait to get to Malaysia and have a few days to put the bike through its paces."

New team-mate and 2012 Moto2 title winner Márquez, who has replaced the retired Casey Stoner, says the launch made him fully appreciate his step-up to MotoGP.

"I have really been looking forward to this moment," he said. "I am very happy to have presented the new colour scheme for my move up from Moto2 to MotoGP. Seeing the bike painted with the Repsol and HRC logos makes you feel very satisfied - it makes you realise what a dream-come-true it is. I can't wait for the Malaysia tests to start."

The opening pre-season test takes place at Sepang from 5-7 February.
