CRT teams get Sepang test underway
MotoGP's CRT outfits were back in action at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday. Forward Racing, IODA Racing and Avintia all descended upon the Malaysian Grand Prix venue, but their programmes were plagued by technical gremlins.
Prior to the official start of the test, CRT teams have been allowed to spend two futher days on-track in a bid to fully understand the new Magneti Marelli ECU system, which will become mandatory in 2014. However, Héctor Barberá, Hiroshi Aoyama and Colin Edwards all hit trouble, while Claudio Corti failed to leave the pit lane all together.
CRT testing continues on Monday, before the factory machines arrive on Tuesday.
