Ducati completes three-day test at Jerez

18 February 2013

Ducati has spent the last three days testing behind closed doors at Jerez, with the outfit completing more development work after a disappointing week in Malaysia.

Ducati tester Michele Pirro and Pramac rider Andrea Iannone were in action on the new GP13, with the latter being flown in at the last moment to help with the programme. In the hands of Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso at Sepang, the bike finished around one and a half seconds slower than Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa, leading the famous squad to search for improvements on a privately hired track.

Engine and electronic tweaks were the main aspects of Ducati's testing agenda at Jerez, with the next joint gathering again taking place at Sepang from 26-28 February.
