Repsol Honda's Marc Márquez continued his pace-setting form on the second day of testing at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, producing a personal best effort of 2:03.853 to shave almost eight tenths of a second off his previous benchmark.
Dani Pedrosa again finished second fastest as the chequered flag came out, with 2012 title rival Jorge Lorenzo a little further back. In fourth place, Stefan Bradl managed to maintain his advantage over Valentino Rossi, who rounded out the order.
