Crutchlow fastest in third Brno practice
24 August 2013 – Cal Crutchlow set the pace in Saturday morning's third practice session at Brno. The Tech 3 rider, who posted a time of 1:56.156, led Jorge Lorenzo by 0.166 seconds.
Lorenzo quickly moved to the front of the field when the track action got underway, the Yamaha man remaining in charge for the majority of the session. Crutchlow left it late to make his move, ultimately taking the top spot with the fastest time of the weekend.
Marc Márquez was the fastest Honda runner in third, just ahead of Yamaha's Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa. Gresini's Álvaro Bautista wound up sixth, the Spaniard edging out Bradley Smith and FP2 pace-setter Stefan Bradl.
The Ducatis of Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden rounded out the top ten riders.
