Pedrosa 'couldn't walk for days due to pain'
8 October 2013 – Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa is hopeful he will be in ‘perfect condition’ for the MotoGP event in Malaysia this weekend.
Pedrosa crashed out in Aragon last time out, moments after being passed by team-mate Marc Márquez.
Márquez made slight contact in the manoeuvre and the team later confirmed that the collision had caused damage to the traction control system on Dani’s bike and this subsequently led to his dramatic exit.
“Physically it's been a hard week,” said Pedrosa. “I couldn't walk for three days due to the pain in my hip, but it's getting better every day so I'm hoping to be in perfect condition for the weekend.”
“I felt good in the last race riding at the front, and I look forward to finding the same feelings on the bike again in Sepang,” he added. “The track has a little of everything, fast and slow corners, hard braking and long straights and the weather conditions [also] make it hard work.”
