Márquez quickest again on final day in Valencia
13 November 2013 – Marc Márquez set the pace again on Wednesday as the three-day test at Valencia drew to a close. The newly crowned MotoGP World Champion completed over 50 laps in total, his best effort a 1:30.287, just a few hundredths shy of his pole lap on Saturday.
Bradley Smith was second for Monster Yamaha Tech 3, 0.311 seconds off the Repsol Honda man, while Stefan Bradl came in third for LCR.
Dani Pedrosa was fourth with Gresini's Álvaro Bautista and Pol Espargaro fifth and sixth respectively.
Andrea Iannone, Aleix Espargaro, Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow filled positions 7 through to 10.
Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi were not on track, with the factory Yamaha team having concluded its running on Tuesday. Scott Redding and Yonny Hernandez also sat out the final day due to injuries.
