Pedrosa eyes improvement in Dutch TT
24 June 2014 – Dani Pedrosa will be out to build on his encouraging performance in Barcelona when he heads to Assen this week for round eight in MotoGP 2014.
Pedrosa took pole position and finished third in Catalunya and with his arm now much better following surgery last month, he has set his sights on improving on his fourth place finish in last year's Dutch TT.
"It was good to be back at the front and fighting in Catalunya! I'm looking forward to going to Assen now and hope I'm one step fitter again as last year I didn't really have a good race, so I hope to improve," confirmed the Repsol Honda rider.
"The weather is usually tricky so you must make the most of any dry track time," he added.
"I like the track but it's important to find a good setting and feeling with the tyres as there are a few very fast corners," he concluded.
