Crutchlow confirmed at LCR Honda for 2015
2 August 2014 – LCR Honda has confirmed that it has signed Cal Crutchlow for the 2015 MotoGP campaign.
LCR's announcement comes shortly after a statement from the Ducati team that Crutchlow, who had signed a multi-year contract, is to depart at the end of 2014, with Pramac's Andrea Iannone stepping up to replace him.
Crutchlow, whose arrival coincides with a new sponsor in CWM forex trading, will ride a factory class RC213V, close to the bike used by reigning World Champion Marc Márquez and Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa.
It will mark a return to satellite status for the Briton, who previously spent three seasons with Tech 3 Yamaha.
"We want to thank Cal for his trust in our 2015 racing project," said LCR CEO Lucio Cecchinello.
LCR is yet to announce what will happen to Stefan Bradl, who has been with the squad since 2012.
