Forward Racing signs Bradl for 2015
6 August 2014 – Stefan Bradl will make the switch from LCR Honda to Forward Racing for the 2015 MotoGP season.
It was announced last week that Cal Crutchlow had agreed to terminate his Ducati contract a year earlier than planned to clear the way for a move to LCR, which has run former Moto2 champion Bradl since 2012.
And ahead of this weekend's Indianapolis Grand Prix, the 24-year-old German's future has been finalised.
"It's with great pleasure that we welcome Stefan Bradl to our team," explained team owner Giovanni Cuzari.
"We believe that Stefan is a strong rider and that our package will suit his riding style very well. Germany also represents an important market and it's important to have a strong German rider in our line up."
Forward currently runs Open class Yamahas for Aleix Espargaró and the retiring Colin Edwards.
