Forward Racing, Bradl agree to split
31 July 2015 – Forward Racing and Stefan Bradl have agreed to part ways, the team announced on Friday.
Bradl's exit follows the arrest of Forward team boss Giovanni Cuzari over alleged bribery and money laundering, and the outfit's subsequent decision to withdraw from next weekend's Indianapolis round.
Bradl has been linked to the Aprilia ride vacated by Marco Melandri for the rest of the season.
"Forward Racing and Stefan Bradl have reached an agreement by mutual consent to terminate the contractual obligations between the German rider and the Swiss team," read a statement from the outfit.
"This difficult decision has been taken in front of the concrete possibility for the rider to continue his participation in the World Championship and to ensure and protect his sport activity and his interests.
"Forward Racing agreed to release him from the next race [at Indianapolis] scheduled on August 9 and wishes Stefan all the best in his future endeavors."
