It has been confirmed that the United States' Alexander Rossi will make a one-off appearance in the World Series by Renault championship next weekend, taking to the streets of Monte-Carlo with the ISR team.
Racing in the premier GP3 Series campaign this season, which kicks off in Barcelona this weekend, Rossi is partnering Mexico's Esteban Gutierrez and Brazil's Pedro Nunes but will drive for Czech Republic-based ISR for what becomes his World Series debut in the principality.
The 18-year-old American, who has told GPUpdate.net that GP3's close link with Formula 1 is his main reason for competing in the series, was the Formula BMW Americas Champion in 2008.
