Rossi eager to remain with ISR
20 October 2010 – Alexander Rossi’s views of ISR Racing have been confirmed in Spain this week, with the American insisting that he will be taking part with no team other than the Czech outfit, should he contest a full season of Formula Renault 3.5 in 2011.
Rossi, who raced to fourth overall for ART Grand Prix in the inaugural season of GP3 this year, topped the timesheets on the second of three days of World Series by Renault testing at Motorland Aragón on Tuesday - more than confirming his raw pace in the process.
“I have already finished second or third in a session a few times,” said the California-born 19-year-old, who currently resides in Italy. “This morning we got everything right and that earned us the fastest time.
“We are consistent and quick, we are working well together and I really like this car. I'm also getting to know Motorland Aragón and it's a really nice circuit.
“These tests have only confirmed our opinion of ISR. If we are going to take part in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2011, then it will be with ISR and no-one else.”
