International Draco Racing have announced that Monaco’s Stephane Richelmi will be joined by Brazil’s André Negrão for the upcoming Formula Renault 3.5 campaign in the World Series by Renault.
The pairing will first work together in a test session at Spain’s MotorLand Aragón circuit on 8-9 March.
“Draco’s ultimate goal has always been to develop young drivers in and out of race tracks in order to form great Champions,” comments Team Manager Nadia Morini.
“Our driver choice for 2011 is based upon our philosophy to develop drivers rather than sign consolidated names. Our 2011 line-up is formed by truly young names and I must say that it hasn’t been easy to sign Richelmi and Negrão, also because there were two other newcomers on our list.
“After some deep reflection, we made our choice and I’m sure we made the right decision.”
