Lewis Williamson has joined the ISR Formula Renault 3.5 line-up for this weekend’s season-closing rounds in Barcelona. He will replace Daniel Ricciardo, who is unable to compete as he contests the Japanese Formula 1 Grand Prix for HRT.
Scotland's Williamson lines up alongside ISR regular Nathanaël Berthon of France, having already tested for the Czech team pre-season before also subbing for Ricciardo at the season-opening rounds at Spain’s MotorLand Aragón.
“The aim is very simple - to score as many points as possible!” says ISR’s Peter Berry. “This will be a bit more difficult as we have a rookie in place of Daniel. However, we were very quick in the pre-season test, so we look forward to the challenge!”
