12 October 2011 – Marco Sørensen ensured that the World Series by Renault test at the Circuit de Catalunya this week was headed by a Danish driver on both days, with the 2011 German Formula 3 competitor comfortably moving to the top of the timesheets after compatriot Kevin Magnussen led proceedings 24 hours ago.
Testing for Gravity-Charouz, 21-year-old Sørensen posted a time of 1:32.815 in the morning session, the fastest time of the two-day event by 0.783 seconds.
