Amazingly, spectators and marshals have walked away uninjured from a bizarre accident in the SEAT Leon Eurocup at Brands Hatch on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred during the race, a support event to the World Touring Car Championship, as the car of Portugal’s Francisco Carvalho was involved in contact which saw it spear off the circuit and over the Armco barrier on the entry to Stirling corner.
Incredibly, although marshals were forced to run from the airborne vehicle, all involved escaped unscathed.
