Correa issued with pit start for blocking
24 November 2017 – Jenzer driver Juan Manuel Correa must start Saturday's first GP3 race from the pit lane after he was judged to have impeded Trident's Kevin Jörg during qualifying at Yas Marina.
Correa qualified in 19th place, out of the 20 entrants, and as he cannot serve the three-place drop which he has been issued, he must take the start from the pits.
Correa joined GP3 from the Belgian round as part of an expanded Jenzer operation, but has yet to score, taking a best finish of only 15th.
Jörg, meanwhile, qualified in 14th position during Friday's session.
Mercedes-backed champion George Russell will line up from pole position.
