In photos: How did drivers spend the winter?
11 January 2017 – Shortly after the 2016 finale in Abu Dhabi, drivers travelled all over the world for their winter breaks, and subsequent training camps. GPUpdate.net compiles some of their shots from social media.

In keeping with a recent trend, Hamilton spent plenty of time in British Columbia, posing for this snowy shot in the mountains. "Blessed to spend my birthday in paradise," the Brit posted last week, after turning 32.

"Keep your white Christmas. I'm happy with these ones thanks," were Ricciardo's words to the photo above, in his native Australia. He followed it up with a shot of him enjoying UFC coverage and plenty of gym workouts.
