Misano replaces Monza on 2018 F3 calendar
7 December 2017 – Next year's European Formula 3 calendar has been unveiled, with the 10-round season compacted into a five-month spell.
The season will open with the Pau Grand Prix in mid-May, and conclude alongside the traditional DTM finale at Hockenheim in October.
Silverstone's round has been shifted to August, in correspondence with the World Endurance Championship's calendar shift, forming a back-to-back with Misano.
The Italian venue has been added to 2018's roster as a result of its inclusion on the revised DTM calendar.
The presence of Misano comes at the expense of Monza, while the additional August dates means the Zandvoort round has been shifted to July.
The upcoming campaign is set to be the last run under the current regulations, with the category poised to merge with the GP3 Series for 2019, forming F3 International.
