Crutchlow sticks with LCR through 2019
21 June 2017 – Cal Crutchlow will continue to race for LCR Honda for the next two MotoGP seasons, after the outfit extended its deal with the Honda Racing Corporation.
Crutchlow, 31, joined LCR from Ducati in 2015, taking his first victory in the Czech Republic in 2016, and adding another win in Australia later that season.
He holds seventh in the 2017 standings, having taken a podium in Argentina.
"I am very happy to confirm that I will be riding for HRC with LCR again for two more seasons," commented Crutchlow.
"We have worked extremely hard over the last three seasons together and I am positive that we will enjoy more great results together.
"I would like to thank HRC for the great support they offer me and our team, and I look forward to giving my hundred percent to this project as always."
LCR Honda team boss Lucio Cecchinello added: "Cal is undoubtedly one of the most competitive and talented riders in MotoGP.
"Thanks to HRC's support, we are honoured to work with him again for the next two years.
"Cal gave us our first ever victory in the premier class of MotoGP and further important results."
Crutchlow is LCR Honda's sole rider in MotoGP.
