Miller to attempt Phillip Island comeback
15 October 2017 – Marc VDS has confirmed that Jack Miller will return to action at his home event in Australia next weekend.
Miller fractured his right leg during a training accident two weeks ago and the injury ruled him out of action for Motegi, with Honda test rider Hiroshi Aoyama taking his place.
Miller, who has undertaken an extensive physiotherapy regime, will return to partner Tito Rabat at Phillip Island.
"Jack has been home in Townsville but will be back for Phillip Island and he has been out cycling and his fitness is coming back," said Marc VDS Team Principal Michael Bartholemy.
"We look forward to a nice weekend with Jack at his home race."
Aoyama finished the Japanese Grand Prix in 18th place, while Rabat rounded out the points-paying positions in 15th.
