Miller passed fit for Phillip Island event
19 October 2017 – Marc VDS rider Jack Miller has been passed fit to compete at his home Grand Prix in Australia this weekend, following a mandatory medical check-up on Thursday.
Miller sustained a fractured leg while training three weeks ago and was forced to sit out the Japanese Grand Prix, with Honda test rider Hiroshi Aoyama taking his place.
Marc VDS announced on Sunday that Miller would travel to Phillip Island and the 22-year-old was given the green light by medical chiefs during his compulstory evaluation at the circuit.
Miller will therefore return to action on Friday morning, alongside team-mate Tito Rabat, for his final events with Marc VDS prior to his switch to Pramac Ducati for 2018.
